WHAT A SURPRISE! Dinard (France), Thursday 3 August 2017
We are invited by some old friends living in Dinard to drink a glass together.
We go to the seat of the ADUPP (a harbour association) where the “glass among friends” is celebrated.
Suddenly the President of the Association takes the microphone, joins and shows me the daily on whose front page features a photograph of me, taken a few years ago during a trip with a traditional boat of the zone.
WHAT A SURPRISE! Then I’m presented 2000 vintage bottle of Champagne!!!!
A few days later, an article on the Ouest-France newspaper (800,000 copies per day) …
Every local recognizes me, stops me, says hello and comments on the photo …
